Hi, I'm Joe Frederick, one of the Mortgage Bankers of Wisconsin, and here's my story.

Helping people is my passion, and banking has been in my blood for over 4 generations. My great grandfather, a grocer, bought a few shares in the local bank around the turn of the century. He eventually became the President of the bank, where my grandfather, my dad and I had the pleasure of learning to serve our friends and neighbors who happened to also be customers, borrowers and savers. I was influenced by the old fashioned "do the right thing" philosophy. To look people in the eye and evaluate what they say and do as well as the collateral and capacity of each person. To not lend people into trouble, but out of trouble or into a brighter future. I have not changed much, except that I have more experience, education and practice making things happen to improve peoples lives. I've been in the banking business since 1977, holding progressively responsible positions. I was appointed the President of First National Bank of Northern Kentucky and returned to Wisconsin in 2004 to help start Mortgage Bankers of Wisconsin as a way to continue making great things happen for people.
